In the same way Apple are again showing the advantages of having an iphone over any other phone available on the market. This ruthless marketing strategy has worked for them in the past and they have chose to use it again to work for their product.
Apple have had the ipod on the market for many years and has become the top of the field of portable music. With the iphone they have incorporated the very popular ipod in the phone. This means that an already popular product place in a new one, should increase the popularity of the iphone. The pricing on the ipod should be less that the iphone because it is cheaper.
